About
Elizabeth was born in Malta and started her pianoforte lessons at the tender age of four. She has diplomas from the London College of Music, the Royal College of Music, and the Trinity College of Music, London. In 1999 Elizabeth passed her entrance examinations with flying colours, enabling her to start her advanced music studies at the legendary Tchaikovsky State Conservatory, Moscow, and at the Sofia State Academy. Choosing Moscow this made it possible for Elizabeth to study with Professors Sergei Glavatskih, Ylena Richter and Irina Chukovskaya. She pursued a postgraduate course at the equally renowned Gnessin State Academy of Music, in Moscow from where she studied under Professor Ludmilla Pluzhnik and graduated with Masters in both Performance and Teaching.
During her stay in Russia, Elizabeth performed extensively, taking part in concerts held both in Sveni Gorod and Moscow. She also gave concerts at the monthly engagements held at the House of Literature and represented Malta at the Russo-Maltese relations concerts in the presence of diplomats.
Elizabeth served as a jury member for the Malta International Piano Festival in 2023 and 2024. She has performed in various prestigious concerts, including at the President's Palace in Malta, and at the Mediterranean International Festivals in Thessaloniki and Genoa. Elizabeth has also been invited multiple times as a soloist and accompanist at the Victoria International Arts Festival. Utilizing Russian teaching methods, she instructs students of all levels. Additionally, Elizabeth is the founder and director of the Malta Music Hub and the Music Café.
